Job description:

As a forklift truck operator at Algeco Belgium, you are responsible for the safe and efficient transport ofmodular units and products within our warehouse and on our unit yard.
You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure that equipment is delivered on time and is loaded and unloaded correctly.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading HGVs using a forklift truck.
  • Transporting modular units and products within the warehouse and on the yard using a forklift truck.
  • Checking the condition of our equipment and ensuring correct storage.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and compliance with all safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid forklift certificate.
  • Recent experience as a forklift truck operator handling heavy loads using a 10-tonne forklift truck.
  • Good knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible and prepared to work outside of regular hours if required.
  • Good communication skills and a positive work ethic.
