Caritat boarding school is renovating: Algeco units provide temporary housing solution.

Renovation Approach with Algeco

To ensure the planned renovation proceeds smoothly, Internaat Caritat has chosen the stackable units from Algeco. A total of 14 units were installed, both stacked and linked, to accommodate the children's stay. These units are equipped with all necessary facilities.

The role of the temporary boarding school

The boarding school provides shelter for boys and girls aged 2.5 to 19 years. During the renovation, some of them will be temporarily housed in 14 units from Algeco.

These units are equipped with 12 bedrooms and 2 sanitary blocks. The current dormitory is being renovated into 9 individual rooms. Where the boarding school previously housed 50 children, the capacity has now been expanded to 60 students and/or pupils.

Algeco units as the key to successful renovation

We have delivered 14 Advance+ units. These units meet the strict fire performance criteria REI(w) 60. Especially in housing in education, fire resistance is vital. Combined with our fire protection systems, these units make them extremely suitable for the expansion of classrooms or, as in this case, for sleeping areas.

In addition, the building is equipped with sanitary units, a kitchen unit, and many other 360° services.
