An innovative school space thanks to our Fire-x units

At Algeco Belgium, we understand that the right space forms the foundation for a successful educational environment. Therefore, we are proud to present one of our latest temporary school projects.

For this assignment, we advised the management to choose our innovative Fire-X units – a sustainable, safe, and versatile solution that perfectly meets the specific needs of educational institutions.

Safety first with our modern modular unit: Fire-X

When building a school environment, safety is of course an absolute top priority.
Our Fire-X units offer unparalleled fire-resistant properties, providing peace of mind for both the management and the parents. These modular units are designed to meet the strictest safety standards without compromising on comfort or style.
 

Product highlights of the Fire-X unit:

  • Fire-retardant panels: Fire-retardant roof and floor panels for optimal safety.
  • Easy to move: The integrated forklift slots make it easy to relocate the units.

  • Double glazing with safety glass: Provides both improved insulation and extra safety.
  • Burglary-resistant shutters: Extra layer of security for the building.

What was the purpose of the modular classroom containers?

In May 2024, a temporary school building was installed for school de Lichtlijn. This consists of 33 Fire-X units equipped with spacious hallways and classrooms in calming colors that are ideal for education.

There is space for 110 students, divided into 5 classes and a section for toddler care. Additionally, we have provided administrative spaces, sanitary facilities, a small kitchen, and open areas for communal use.

How did the collaboration go?
