Temporary showroom with integrated workshop area for Camber

In order to expand one of their existing showrooms, Algeco, in collaboration with Camber, the ultimate specialist in custom cabinets, has created an impressive temporary showroom.

Efficient and stylish modular solutions for temporary showrooms

The project uses modular units of type Advance Flash, which combine flexibility and efficiency. These units provide a fast and practical solution for temporary space needs, without compromising on style and functionality.

In this temporary showroom, they could also find their inspiring workshop area, which is also central in their showrooms.

What were the project challenges?

We faced a specific challenge: there was insufficient space available to install the septic tank next to the unit. To overcome this limitation, we devised an innovative solution where we elevated the unit by 70 cm, allowing the septic tank to be placed underneath the unit.

Raising the unit provided a unique space-saving solution, allowing us to make optimal use of the available space on the site. This adjustment enabled the septic tank to be safely and efficiently placed under the unit, without compromising the functionality and aesthetics of the temporary building.

Project Features

  • Modularity: The project utilises modular units that can be easily adapted and expanded according to the specific needs of Camber.

This ensures flexibility and scalability.

  • Functional design with integration of 360 Services°: The modular units are designed to serve both as an office and a workshop. They provide ample space for three workstations, meeting facilities, and limited storage, while simultaneously creating an inspiring and productive working environment.

We provided not only the units including toilet facilities but also various 360° Services , ranging from decoration options to fire safety:

  • Access stairs, safe and easy access by using a suitable staircase.
     
  • PVC floor tiles, easy to maintain, allows heat transmission and provides quality sound insulation.
     
  • CO² meter, indispensable for any space where more than two people stay together. 
  • Kitchenette offers a compact and functional kitchen setup, making it possible to prepare simple meals.
     
  • Facility management,  by utilizing this 360° Service we offer you various consumables such as a sanitary and cleaning kit.
     
  • Smoke detector and fire extinguisher quickly detects the presence of smoke and activates an alarm so that immediate action can be taken.
     
  • Outdoor lighting with motion sensor, this will light up as soon as movement is detected, which means you don't have to switch it on with a switch. The light will not unnecessarily stay on, saving you energy. If no movement occurs in the space or surroundings, the light will automatically turn off.
  • Aesthetics: A lot of attention was paid to the aesthetic aspect of the project. The modular units were equipped with modern and high-quality finishes that match Camber's interior design. This creates a professional appearance in their corporate identity and fosters a pleasant working environment.
     
  • Quick installation: Algeco's modular units are known for their quick installation time. This means that the temporary office and workshop were operational quickly, allowing Camber to continue their activities without delay.
     
  • Sustainability: Algeco places great importance on sustainability. The modular units are designed with energy-efficient materials and technologies, resulting in a low ecological footprint. Moreover, the units can be disassembled after use and rebuilt elsewhere, making them an environmentally friendly solution.
