How would you describe your role as a drawer in modular construction?

My role as a drawer at Algeco Belgium revolves around translating customer and sales requirements into detailed drawings. I use appropriate 3D drawing software to provide the customer with a visual representation of their project.

Additionally, I work closely with the operations department to ensure that my drawings are practically executable. Collaboration is fundamental to the content of my job, as teamwork is crucial for achieving successful results.

What professional challenge do you see as a personal victory?

As a technical draftsman, I see the successful completion of a complex project as a personal victory and professional challenge. Creating detailed and accurate technical drawings requires not only a deep knowledge of construction techniques and standards but also excellent spatial insight and attention to detail.

Overcoming obstacles, such as solving technical problems, finding creative solutions, and meeting client expectations, provides me with great satisfaction.

What makes your workday a perfect/successful day?

A successful day for me is when I have been able to make my sales colleagues happy with my creative thinking for the client. But the highlight of my workday is when a full inbox in the morning turns into an empty inbox by the evening.

How would your colleagues describe you?

I hope that my colleagues see me as a pleasant and creative colleague, who goes beyond just Algeco.

In 2023, the Modular Group, of which Algeco is a part, organized an international competition on the occasion of World Environmental Day. I was fortunate to win this competition with my own created artwork.
